A couple points of clarification would be helpful tho -
How many of the 20 of 24 “Injustice” Dem candidates that won primaries ended up winning their general elections? How might this have impacted the general election races? Or in other words, how might this strategy have performed overall to help shape the House from a purely D vs R perspective? (It is notable some D strategy this past cycle was to do the opposite and try to get MAGA candidates past primaries into general elections in order to defeat them. But I wonder if progressives might have fared better than centrists in these districts?)
Fantastic reporting. You put the pieces together in a cogent fashion. The oppo spending versus leftist candidates was never about crypto or the pandemic: it was all about protecting Congressional support for Israel. The centrist IE group NoLabels plays the same game: supporting “bipartisanship” with the caveat that all those supported are pro-Israel. It’s a ruse, and it’s clever.
It's easy to keep DMFI and DU off your case, just don't demonize the only Jewish State in the world. Oh wait, that won't be so easy for you, you co-founded IfNotNow, the vile organization that stains a great saying from Hillel.
I'm here to help! Of course, it should already have been clear that the groups I mentioned have absolutely no interest in 99% of what "Justice Democrats" claim to care about, but maybe the message came through louder this year.
I believe the Trump supporting billionaires who contributed to DMFI and AIPAC aren't just concerned the left will hold Israel accountable for their crimes, but are worried their taxes will go up as well. Hope that helps!
Self defense isn't a crime, it is a moral obligation. I am not privy to their books, but I know for sure that large sums come to DMFI and AIPAC from people who are neither billionaires nor Trump supporters, but whose commitment to the Jewish People is unquestionable.
Left? What left? All I see are identity politicians more than happy to shell out a hundred billion for war, without even blinking. They even happily give the president more than he asked for to fund the Pentagon, these "left" politicians. The the mask has come off identity politics. I work for a large (5000 employee) corporation in the health care field, and identity politics are now run out of our human resources department. And if your idea of "the left" is a corporate human resources department then it is absolutely true you have no idea what "left" means, and that "the left" is completely dead and buried. If these groups can beat candidates that do nothing but pose on Instagram and vote obediently for anything the neoconservatives throw at them, and all you can do is harumph about it, then face the truth: there is no "there" there. You are impotent and place your hopes in empty shells of politicians.
Hmm, are you sure you read the post? Are you comparing your corporate HR department to the progressive squad? Cause those two are different and I’m sorry you are confused.
Friggin phenomenal reporting. Bravo.

Is any of this activity illegal?
Thank you!

Hey, thanks Robert, this is really clarifying. I'll definitely keep it in mind moving forward.
